With 15 years in the field, Liz brings experience from working in inpatient units, addiction units, and crisis stabilization sites including psychiatric emergency rooms and psychiatric urgent care centers. She’s passionate about body positivity in the mental health space and believes that mental health care should not be stigmatized. “Extra support and human connection is helpful for almost everyone. It doesn’t hurt to reach out to connect to see if there are ways that we can maximize your living experience.”

I incorporate principles of CBT, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based approaches into my work. I also value culturally responsive care and creating an inclusive environment for individuals of all backgrounds.

Sharon is a psychiatric provider and graduate of the University of Phoenix who delivers comprehensive mental health care across the lifespan. She specializes in thoughtful, individualized treatment that integrates evidence-based medication management with supportive psychotherapy and trauma-informed care. Drawing from principles of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and strengths-based approaches, Sharon creates a culturally responsive and inclusive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and understood. She is deeply committed to reducing stigma, empowering patients through education, and reinforcing that seeking mental health care is an act of courage.

Sharon began her clinical career as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department, where she developed the ability to remain calm under pressure and provide compassionate care in fast-paced settings. Her growing interest in the emotional and psychological dimensions of health led her to transition into psychiatry, where she has since worked in an outpatient community health center treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions. She is motivated by helping patients regain hope, clarity, and stability, and values walking alongside them as they rediscover their resilience. Outside of her clinical work, Sharon enjoys gardening—especially magnolias, cherry blossoms, and hydrangeas—finding in their seasonal blooms a reminder of growth, patience, and meaningful change.

Susannah is a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a strong foundation in addiction medicine and crisis care. She began her healthcare career as a registered nurse at Hoag, specializing in addiction treatment, and went on to earn her PMHNP in 2023. Her early NP experience was shaped under the mentorship of Dr. Seth Eappen, a prominent child psychiatrist in Chicago, where she provided telepsychiatry services and consulted for a long-term acute care hospital. Since returning to California, she has continued working in high-acuity mental health settings, including the Crisis Stabilization Unit at College Hospital Costa Mesa and, more recently, in a substance use partial hospitalization program (PHP) alongside an addiction medicine physician from Hoag.

Susannah’s approach to mental health care is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practice. With a clinical focus on medication management and brief cognitive behavioral therapy for conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and bipolar disorder, she emphasizes patient autonomy and informed decision-making. Her passion for mental health is personal—shaped by early exposure to psychiatric conditions within her own family—and she believes healing begins with compassionate connection and mutual trust. Outside of work, Susannah enjoys baking, reading, staying active, doing crossword puzzles with her husband, and spending time with their dog, Nana.

Trenice has spent the last 9 years as a healthcare provider working with patients across a range of settings, including clinics, nursing homes, and inpatient hospitals. During this time, she has developed a particular interest in mental health care and has worked in both family practice and psychiatry simultaneously. In her work with patients struggling with anxiety and depression, Trenice emphasizes the importance of taking a holistic approach to care that recognizes the interconnectedness of the mind and body.

Trenice is committed to making mental health care accessible to individuals from all socio-economic backgrounds, and she believes that seeking care is an act of self-preservation that should never be stigmatized. She encourages her patients to stay open-minded about their wellbeing and to be proactive in seeking care when they need it. When she's not working, Trenice enjoys spending time with her children, engaging in high-intensity interval training and weightlifting, and binge-watching her favorite TV shows.
